Our fee terms, in plain English

We want fees to be one less thing to think about, so here is everything in one place.

The same amount every month

Your fees are spread evenly across the year: a normal week's fees, multiplied by 52 and divided by 12. That means one steady monthly bill, whatever the month. All our day rates include meals and extras.

Paying your invoice

We send your invoice around the 25th of the month before, and payment is due by the 14th of the month it covers. You can pay by BACS or with childcare vouchers.

Securing your place

When a place is available, we offer it to you in writing and you have two weeks to decide. To join, there is a £50 registration fee (not charged if your child only attends funded hours) and a £250 refundable deposit, which comes back to you on your first monthly bill. Children come in for at least two sessions a week, which helps them settle and build friendships.

Using funded hours

We offer funded hours all year round rather than term time only, so your funding is spread across every month. Please get your code to us by the last day of the month before the term you would like it to start, and remember to reconfirm it every 3 months. Charges for meals and consumables during funded hours are voluntary, and fully funded sessions are always available.

Extra days

Need an extra day now and then? Just ask. Additional days are charged at our normal day rate.

Late collection

We reserve the right to charge for late collection.

Our full admissions policy is available on request, and we are always happy to talk anything through.

How nursery fees and funding work at The Manor House

Straightforward, with no surprises

1

Using your funded hours

We are registered with Bristol City Council to offer funded hours to eligible children. We offer funding all year round as well as termly, so 30 funded hours works out at around 22 hours a week across 12 months, and 15 hours at 11 hours a week. Your funding code needs to reach us by the last day of the month before the term you want it to start, and must be reconfirmed on the government portal every 3 months to stay valid. Hours beyond your funded allocation are charged at our normal day rates. Charges for meals and consumables during funded hours are voluntary, fully funded sessions are available, and any charges are itemised on your invoice.

2

How fees are invoiced

Fees are annualised: we take a normal week's fees, multiply by 52 and divide by 12, so you pay the same amount every month. Invoices go out around the 25th of the month before, and payment is due by the 14th of the month the fees cover, by BACS or childcare vouchers. A £50 late payment fee applies if payment is late.
